Accessible family history research

Many people are interested in their family history — who their ancestors were, where they lived, what their lives were like — but are unsure of where to begin, or of how to continue research they’ve begun. What sorts of records exist? What will they teach me? How do I access them? Onato Genealogy streamlines the early steps of family history research, providing you with a family tree, primary records, a report explaining the research process, and associated documents, based on over 10 years of genealogical research experience. Learn more under How It Works, and then Get Started.

Onato is a word in the Caquinte language of Peru that refers to the point of a tree trunk from which the branches begin and reach upward. I invite you to read the About Me and Testimonials sections, and to enjoy photographs of my family throughout this site, ones that I have unearthed as part of my personal research.
